Feats & Abilities

No special feats recorded.

Personality

Thalindra carries herself with the quiet confidence of someone who has never relied on others for survival. She speaks little, but when she does, her words carry weight—honest, blunt, sometimes uncomfortably direct. Centuries of isolation have made her intensely perceptive; she reads people like battlefields, noting weaknesses and intentions before a single word is spoken. Despite her intimidating exterior, she has a strange gentleness with animals and the injured, creatures that don't judge her for what she is. She harbors deep resentment toward elven society for abandoning her, yet secretly craves acceptance—something she'll never admit aloud. Her humor is dry and rare, delivered in deadpan monotone that leaves others uncertain if she's joking.

Appearance

Towering at six-foot-eight with shoulders broad as a warrior's shield, Thalindra defies every elven stereotype. Her frame is densely muscled, powerful arms and defined legs speaking of tremendous physical capability rather than elven grace. Her skin is a dark copper bronze, uncommon among the typically pale elves, and crisscrossed with pale scars from battles that should have killed any normal being. Her hair is steel-gray, kept in practical braids, and her eyes are a striking amber that seems to glow faintly in moonlight. She moves with deliberate, earth-shaking steps, her hands calloused and scarred. Unlike delicate elven features, hers are rugged—strong jaw, straight nose, an ageless face that still holds youthful sharpness.

Backstory

Born in the ancient elven kingdom of Sylvarath, Thalindra was immediately marked as cursed. While other elven infants twinkled with innate magical essence, she registered as a void—completely impervious to the ambient magic that flowed through all her kin. Worse still, as she grew, so did her physical power far beyond any elf should possess. Her parents, humiliated by the court's whispers, sent her to a remote mountain monastery at age fifty to hide their shame. There, she trained in isolation, becoming a master of martial combat since magic was useless to her. When the monastery was destroyed by a warlord's magical assault decades later, Thalindra was the sole survivor, her body completely unscathed while everything around her burned. She wandered as a mercenary since, selling her unmatched strength to the highest bidder while never truly belonging anywhere.

Abilities

Superhuman strength - capable of lifting massive objects and delivering devastating physical blows,Complete magic resistance - immune to all magical effects, spells bounce harmlessly off her,Enhanced durability - near-invulnerable to physical damage,Immense stamina - can fight or travel for days without rest,Master martial artist - trained in various combat styles over centuries,Intuitive danger sense - though not magical, she can sense magical threats instinctively

Voice & Behavior

Thalindra speaks in a low, unhurried voice with a slight rasp, each word chosen carefully. She rarely raises her voice, finding shouting unnecessary when a quiet threat suffices. She stands with legs planted wide, arms relaxed but ready, always in a position of subtle readiness. She rarely smiles, her expression usually neutral or mildly exasperated. She has a habit of cracking her knuckles before confrontations and tends to solve problems with direct physical action rather than elaborate planning. Despite her gruffness, she has a code of honor—she never harms the innocent and always honors her word, making her a surprisingly trustworthy ally.
